The way: "Development from the beginning"
It was in 1987 when a strategic focus was directed at the importance of IT for the business units of the Gauselmann Group. This resulted in the establishment of a separate company. It was called BEIT - illustrating the main focus of the company: Business Consultation, Software Engineering and provision of Information Technology. Since then, the BEIT Systemhaus operates as Internal Service Company of the Gauselmann Group. The initial goal of building up an efficient information technology for all companies of the Gauselmann Group was reached in only a few years. The successful principle of establishing a balance between possible standardization and the needed customer-specific solutions has benefited all companies to this day. Together with the dynamic development of the Gauselmann Group to an internationally active group of companies, the demands on the BEIT Systemhaus continued to grow.

Our declared goal is to contribute to the permanent success of our customers by offering IT-services as needed. It is this goal where we orientate our capabilities, organizational structures, and processes. The dynamism of market requirements and the permanent development of information technology are being reflected in the growth of the BEIT Systemhaus.
Today, we do not only offer our services to our affiliate companies but also to companies outside of the Gauselmann Group. Having some 110 employees at the moment, we have an annual turnover of about 15 million Euro.

Our organizational structure is oriented to the requirements of our customers. The connecting link to the business managers is formed by our Key Account Management. This ensures an optimal IT-Governance in close coordination with the respective decision-makers.

we provide the services orientated to the requirements of our customers. For this purpose, we use the resources of our own Competence Centers (CC) or the services of external service providers.
In our CC Data Center, all skills and systems for IT operation and data communication are concentrated. Our CC Application provides the capacities and competences for the development and support of applications.
